Garage equipment - mobile column lifts

Somers supply a range of mobile column lifts to the UK transport industry. They are used by bus, coach and truck fleet operators as well as specialists such as refuse contractors, fire services and the ministry of defence.

Our 7.5 tonne mobile column lifts can be used in sets of four, six or eight.
They feature a unique recirculating ball screw system which results in lower wear and reduced energy consumption. They are so reliable that we guarantee them for life (subject to terms and conditions).

Garage equipment - scissor lifts

The LS6 scissor lifts range from 10 to 40 tonnes, and in lengths from six to fourteen metres.
They are available either flush or surface mounted, and are particularly suited to wash bay applications.

Garage equipment - transmission jacks

The transmission jack which is available for use with our mobile column lifts is mobile, and fully adjustable for the safe removal and reinstallation of gearboxes and other transmission components.

Axle stands
We supply both high axle stands and short axle stands for maximum flexibility in all types of service operation. All our axle stands are of 7.5 tonne capacity.

Wheel adaptors
We supply small wheel adaptors for use on vans, minibuses etc, and we also supply twin wheel removers so pairs of wheels can be removed quickly and safely.
