SPANNERS PUTS A SOMERSTOTALKARE LIFT IN THE WORKS

SOMERSTOTALKARE, the UK's number 1 supplier of Heavy Duty Mobile Vehicle lifts and after sales has supplied a set of six S6cf cable free lifts to Spanners Mixer Hire.

Spanners Mixer Hire has been established for over 30 years with 20 of those years specialising in concrete mixers. The company have 18 vehicles in their fleet and maintain and service 20 customer vehicles.

Managing Director, Peter Spooncer said 'We previously used static jacks to raise vehicles to carry out inspections every four weeks but found it took up a large portion of time. We encountered the S6cf at the CVO Show last year and felt the flexibility offered by the mobile coulm lifts and worry free wireless option was the right choice for our business.

'We can now lift loaded concrete mixers to carry out repairs. The equipment is excellent and the fact we can use them in sets of four and six enable total flexibiltiy in the workshop and decreases downtime of vehicles.'

The S6cf has a lifting capacity of 7.5 tonnes per column and can be used in sets of 4, 6 or 8 columns without the need for a 3 phase power supply.
