SOMERSTOTALKARE EMPLOYEE CELEBRATES 42 YRS OF SERVICE

SOMERSTOTALKARE, leading supplier of premium heavy duty mobile vehicle lifting equipment is celebrating the 60th birthday of one of their Midlands based team.

Glenda Barratt joined the company at the age of 18 as an accounts clerk, she then moved into the purchasing department before managing the internal sales of equipment and is now commercial manager.

Managing Director of SOMERSTOTALKARE, Tim Jackson, said: "Glenda has been an integral part of the team for 42 years and has seen the company grow to become the UK's number one for heavy duty lifting solutions and after sales care.

‘We are very proud of the fact that we have such a successful and long standing relationship with a member of staff who has played a role in the sale of more than 6,000 sets of mobile lifts to customers over the last 30 years.

Glenda said ‘When I walked through the doors at aged 18 I would never have imagined that I would be celebrating my 60th birthday with the same company. It is a great place to work with a lovely team of people, I hope I am testament to that with my 42 yrs of service'.
